Job description
Program Manager, Strategic Partnerships
Location: South San Francisco, Hybrid
Bridge Analytics is seeking a customer-oriented Program Manager to serve as the primary bridge between our technical and scientific teams and our high-profile data partners. In this role, you will lead the operational and strategic success of our collaborations with world-class organizations like The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) that drive research to advance science and therapeutics in neurodegenerative diseases.
You will operate in a high-ambiguity environment where the data is complex and stakeholders have prestigious academic backgrounds. We are looking for a true driver, someone who can navigate varying paces of work, align diverse seniorities, and transform concepts into structured, executed project plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Act as the lead point of contact for data partners. Manage relationships across all levels of seniority, from academic researchers to executives, ensuring collaborative goals for major studies like PPMI (Parkinson's Precision Medicine Initiative) are met on time and with high integrity.
- Driving Execution & Alignment: Interface heavily with partner program managers and clinical operations teams. You will often need to be the primary driver in these relationships, maintaining momentum and pushing projects forward when dealing with academic or partners who may operate at a different pace.
- Navigating Ambiguity: Define, build and iterate on processes and playbooks to help organize work and communication channels between Bridge Analytics and our partners.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with our internal Data Science, Engineering, and Legal teams to ensure data transfer protocols, compliance standards, and analytical milestones align with partnership agreements.
- Reporting and Dashboarding: Own the tracking and visibility of partnership health. Utilize project management tools to build, maintain, and present clear dashboards and progress reports for leadership
Who You Are
- You possess a genuine, strong interest or passion for therapeutics and clinical research, specifically within neurodegenerative diseases or related TAs.
- You have a foundational background in a technical or scientific field (e.g., Biology, Neuroscience, Bioinformatics, or Data Science). You can discuss the science at a high level, including concepts like biomarkers, cohorts, and data schemas. A working knowledge of neurodegenerative disease research will allow you to anticipate the needs of partners.
- You understand the nuances of working on high-visibility studies where data privacy, ethics, and scientific accuracy are paramount.
- You possess the "soft power" required to influence partners and internal stakeholders without direct authority. You turn friction into collaboration.
- You don’t wait to be told what to do; you proactively anticipate needs before they become issues and thrive when the path forward isn’t clearly marked.
- You have experience with ensuring all data sharing adheres to strict ethical guidelines.
- You are eager to adopt and integrate modern AI tools into your daily workflow to optimize efficiency. You also possess a comfort level with digital health technologies and platform ecosystems, or have a strong openness to learning about them.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of program management experience, specifically within the clinical research sectors.
- Clinical Trial Literacy: Foundational understanding of clinical trials, research operations, and large scale longitudinal study data structures.
- Driving & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of managing and driving projects forward with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority (including academic backgrounds), with the ability to maintain momentum and navigate different paces of work.
- Ambiguity: Documented success navigating highly ambiguous environments, with the ability to turn abstract concepts into structured, executable project plans.
- Tools & Reporting: Fluency with program management tools and a demonstrated ability to build/maintain reporting dashboards to provide clear visibility to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in a neuroscience field, or equivalent practical experience in a neuroscience field is highly preferred.
- Scientific Literacy: Ability to discuss scientific concepts at a high level (e.g., biomarkers, cohorts, data schemas) and a working knowledge of neurodegenerative disease research to anticipate partner needs
- Tech Adaptability: Comfort level with - or strong openness to learning about - digital platforms and integrating AI tools into daily workflows to optimize efficiency.
