ROLE DEFINITION

As a Mixing Technician you will be responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient mixing of batches of chemical materials by adding raw materials into a mixing pot. This role requires a moderate amount of overtime throughout the week and sometimes on Saturdays.

We are hiring for second and third shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION

Your key responsibilities will be/what you'll do:

  • Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards

  • Handle hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precaution

  • Monitor process conditions and equipment

  • Participate in the creation and the maintenance of a clean work area

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • High School education or GED equivalent is required.

  • Experience operating a fork truck is a plus

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment or clean room is preferred.

In addition, successful candidate must meet the following physical qualifications, with or without accommodation:

  • Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.

  • Ability to work with a variety of glues, solvents, and chemicals.

  • Willing and able to work in a restricted, electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on an occasional basis.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple work instructions, engineering drawings and company policies.

  • Ability to perform simple math problems such as addition and subtraction of 2-3 digit numbers.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Willing and able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as required
