Job description


Title: Logistics Shipping Associate I

Reports to: Logistics Supervisor

Status: Full-time

Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm

Purpose of position:

Maintain boiler inventory and shipping processes. Provide assistance to parts distribution center when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check, label, and package boilers
  • Check, label, and package all boiler accessories to meet standards
  • Loading and unloading boilers and accessories pallets
  • Verify, tag and package water softeners prior to shipping
  • Follow shipping schedule for on time shipping
  • Manage physical main unit inventory
  • Perform shipping of parts and boilers through CRM
  • Process orders of parts by picking, packing, and loading parts for FTL, LTL, UPS and FedEx shipments when needed
  • Help perform monthly inventory
  • Perform Daily 5S responsibilities of assigned work area(s)
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices.
  • Follow all Safety requirements which includes Wearing PPE, following Safe Work Practices, adhere to Safety Policy and Rules.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position):

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Crane and forklift experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience with FTL, LTL, UPS and FedEx systems.
  • Available to work some required overtime
  • Excel and Microsoft Office Skills
  • Ability to work well with multiple cultures
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent skill and knowledge of hand and power tools.
