Job description

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions that impact mobility and physical function. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other evidence-based interventions.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, injury prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, HIPAA, and professional standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the State of Missouri or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required based on facility requirements).
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in outpatient, inpatient, orthopedic, home health, or rehabilitation settings is preferred but not required.

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
