Job Description
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Clean Room Technician for a long-term, day or swing shift position with a plastics manufacturer located in Tigard, OR. The person in this position will perform assembly (mechanical and electrical), plumbing (stainless steel and Teflon tubing), and electrical wiring (cables and assemblies).
Pay: $25-$32/hr
Clean Room Technician Responsibilities:
  • Set up, adjust and operate tube bending machinery and equipment to bend structural plastic pipe, tube, bar, etc. to specifications.
  • Fabricate directly from drawings, samples, or instructions without supervision.
  • Develop layouts from drawings, samples or instructions.
  • Check bent parts to drawing specification and tolerance using proper measurement and inspect equipment.
  • Identify, properly tag and remove non-conforming materials.
  • Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner.
  • Perform first article runs and communicate recommendations as appropriate.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Follow test procedures and document test data.

Clean Room Technician Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing environment
  • Clean Room experience
  • Tube bending experience preferred
  • Able to read and interpret engineered drawings
  • Able to identify and build using Inch and Metric dimensions.
  • Able to read and interpret a bill of materials
  • Ability to use tools including Wrenches, screwdrivers, ratchet/socket tools, exacto/utility knifes, Measuring devices, Deburring Tools, Hand flare tools, Wire strippers/crimp tools, Tube cutters and benders, Heat guns,Hand drills (electric, and battery), Hamilton flaring tools, and Heatshrink labelmakers.
  • Be able to communicate issues related to work orders, drawings, part shortages and machine errors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Ability to stand at workstation for designated shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs
  • Must be available to work swing shift, 2:15PM-12:45AM MON-THURS or day shift, 4AM-2:30PM MON-THURS.
