In business for almost 50 years, we produce custom stairs, railings, ladders, dock stairs, and other specialty fabrications with precision and craftsmanship. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced detailer and project manager who thrives in a fast-moving, highly specialized environment. If you have knowledge of AutoCAD, a background in miscellaneous metals, and the ability to run multiple projects from start to finish, this could be your next career move. What You'll Do:
  • Produce and review detailed shop drawings for stairs, railings, ladders, and other custom metalwork using AutoCAD (required).
  • Manage projects from design through delivery and installation.
  • Oversee material ordering, scheduling, change orders, and coordination between shop, field crews, and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with experienced installers in the Miscellaneous Metals department.
  • Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader for other detailers on the team.
Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals or structural steel detailing and project management.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (required); SDS2 or Tekla experience a plus.
  • Skilled at balancing technical detail with big-picture project oversight.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a niche, fast-paced industry.
  • Clear communicator who works well with shop teams, installers, and general contractors.
  • Ready to take on a leadership role in a family-oriented, quality-driven environment.
