Job description

Pen Manufacturing is investing to become a leading Division 5 Miscellaneous Metals fabricator in Southern California.
We're looking for someone who already knows how to estimate, quote, and win miscellaneous metals work-and wants the opportunity to help build something much larger.
We have an established fabrication operation, engineering support, active quoting opportunities, and capital to invest in growth. We need someone who can turn opportunities into awarded projects and develop long-term relationships with general contractors, developers, and commercial customers.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate and bid Division 5 miscellaneous metals projects
  • Review plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Develop relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and developers
  • Pursue new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
  • Negotiate pricing and close awarded projects
  • Work closely with engineering and production to ensure successful project execution
  • Visit customers and jobsites throughout Southern California

Qualifications
  • 5+ years estimating and selling Division 5 miscellaneous metals or structural steel projects
  • Proven ability to prepare competitive bids and win work
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs, and fabrication
  • Existing Southern California contractor relationships are highly preferred
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable building a book of business

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary ($70,000-130,000 DOE)
