Job description

Position: MIS Manager (ERP / SCM / CRM / Groupware)

Location: COVINGTON, GA

JOB SUMMARY

The MIS Manager is responsible for stable operation and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems including ERP, Groupware, and Middleware (EAI, CDC), while leading readiness and planning activities for future SCM and CRM implementations. This role ensures end-to-end process continuity by managing system operations, integrations, data flow reliability, and governance, and by driving cross-functional alignment for new system rollouts. The MIS Manager partners with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales/Customer teams, and IT stakeholders to standardize processes, strengthen controls, and enable scalable, data-driven operations.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own day-to-day operations of ERP, Groupware, and Middleware (EAI, CDC) including stability monitoring, incident resolution, performance management, and vendor coordination
  • Manage change/release management: enhancement intake, prioritization, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, rollback planning, and user communications
  • Establish and operate system governance (process owners, data owners, standards, operating rules) and maintain operational documentation (SOP, runbook)
  • Lead ERP functional operations across core processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report), ensuring control and audit readiness
  • Operate and improve Groupware services (approval workflows, collaboration spaces, access/retention policies, account lifecycle coordination)
  • Ensure reliability of integration and data pipelines via Middleware: interface monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, reprocessing procedures, and SLA management
  • Manage EAI interface design/operation standards: message formats, mappings, exception handling, and interface lifecycle control
  • Manage CDC (Change Data Capture) operation to support near-real-time data synchronization, ensuring data integrity, latency control, and recovery procedures
  • Define and operate master data governance (item/customer/vendor, org structure, codes) and data quality controls across systems
  • Build MIS KPI dashboards and operational reporting for system health (availability, incident MTTR, interface success rate) and business operations
  • Prepare SCM implementation readiness: supply chain process mapping, TO-BE design, requirements definition, integration points, data migration strategy, and phased rollout plan
  • Prepare CRM implementation readiness: customer lifecycle mapping, lead/opportunity/service processes, requirements definition, and integration/data scope planning
  • Support solution evaluation (RFI/RFP), fit-gap analysis, and selection recommendations for SCM/CRM and related ecosystem tools
  • Ensure security and compliance basics for enterprise apps (role-based access, SoD (Segregation of Duties) where applicable, audit evidence, retention, logging) in collaboration with IT/security teams

REQUIREMENT:

  • Proven ability to operate enterprise systems (ERP and collaboration platforms) with strong incident/problem/change management discipline
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and data flows across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales domains
  • Hands-on experience with Middleware integration concepts and operations (EAI, ETL/API, message queues, interface monitoring)
  • Understanding of CDC concepts (data replication, latency, integrity, reconciliation, failover/recovery) and operational control
  • Experience in requirements gathering and process mapping (AS-IS/TO-BE), and ability to produce BRD/FRD, interface specs, and runbooks
  • Ability to lead cross-functional workshops and align stakeholders on scope, priorities, and decisions
  • Familiarity with system integration controls, data governance, and master data management
  • Strong communication skills for executive reporting, vendor management, and end-user adoption/training

QUALITIFICATION:

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States (if applicable to company policy)
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or B2B enterprise environments
  • Experience preparing or leading SCM and/or CRM implementation projects
  • Exposure to internal control/audit support (SoD, access review, change control, evidence management)
  • Certifications or training related to ERP/Integration/Project management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum), or relevant vendor certifications
  • Experience with monitoring/observability tools for interfaces and enterprise apps (APM/log monitoring, alerting)

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)

EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of experience in MIS/IT or enterprise business systems operations (ERP centric)
  • 5+ years of experience in a lead/manager role coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and vendors (preferred)

SALARY:

  • $100,000 – $150,000

BENEFIT:

  • 401K 6% matching (NO vesting period)
  • Healthcare 100% support (Health, Dental, Vision)
  • Life, STD, LTD 100 % support
  • Cell phone allowance
  • PTO and self-development
