Responsibilities

The Wintel Server Support Co-Op will be fully integrated into the Server Support environment, gaining hands-on experience in systems administration, participating in agile processes, and collaborating with multiple teams across BTS while supporting internal stakeholders and learning to resolve real-world IT issues.

Draft communications Participate in backlog refinement Assist with sprint planning Perform SharePoint administration and repository cleanup Support file standardization efforts Conduct data validation Assist with project management activities Support documentation standardization Help expedite equipment deployment processes Perform CMDB cleanup and information gathering Generate reports and dashboards Be part of an agile scrum team, assume responsibility for tasks, and complete them end-to-end Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Learn how to address and resolve IT issues in real-world situations Assist with other projects as needed Manage and triage multiple incoming priorities effectively by understanding customer needs and meeting service level requirements Maintain a strong customer service focus and sense of urgency

Qualifications

Qualifications:

2 or more years of an IT-related degree program completed Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and non-technical individuals and teams Proven track record of working in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment managing multiple priorities Ability to work without direct daily supervision Self-starter with a good work ethic Technical background and technical aptitude relevant to Wintel/Server Support environments Organized and proactive Self-motivated Microsoft Office experience Strong communication and analytical skills Excellent oral and written communication Customer service focus and sense of urgency Ability to manage and triage multiple incoming priorities Ability to meet service level requirements Aggressive curiosity and desire to learn Attention to detail Participation in extracurricular and leadership activities a plus Prior internship/co-op experience preferred

Education Requirement

Registered undergraduate student pursuing a major in an IT-related degree with a preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or higher MIS or Server Administrator major preferred but not required
