Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position is responsible for the overall accounting/MIS and costing functions, including audit, compliance and taxes under various laws and regulations. Prepares cost estimates of new or special products for establishing selling prices and production forecasts.

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities

MIS analysis

Preparation of MIS reports on a monthly basis

Monthly CO-Closing activities

On a monthly basis perform WIP run, Variance calculation, Process order settlement in SAP. Also highlight major difference observed during the settlement (Std. cost Vs. Process order cost) posted during revaluation of Inventory to Income /expenses of revaluation account

Review PP SAP Master โ€“ Master recipe, Resource Master

Review & co-ordinate with plant technical team, to ensure correct PP master data is maintained in SAP system which will be used in overhead cost controlling

Overhead cost controlling

Set-up a system to allocate & recover overhead based on actual production

Annual Budgeting activity

Actively participate in annual budgeting activity to finalize โ€“ Opex, Budgeted Std. cost of Monroe Plant based on the Products list finalized.

Product Costing

Expected to perform monthly product costing independently in SAP. Need to have working experience of product costing in SAP.

Internal Control area

Need to analyze major expense categories to ensure that internal controls are adhered to while processing the same.

Accounts payable

Handling the vendor invoice booking and vendor payment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education

(degree / diploma)

BA/BS in Finance/Costing

Experience

Minimum three (3) years of experience in working on product costing in SAP/FP&A

Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)

Minimum three (3) experience in working on SAP for running costing cycle.

Expertise in working on MS excel

Working experience in basic accounting.

Leadership / Managerial Attributes

Experience in handing at least one person in a team.
