Job Overview Summary

The Security Installation Technician III will handle high-complexity installations and oversee significant projects involving advanced security systems. This role demands a high level of expertise in security technology, project management, and client interactions.

What youโ€™ll be doing (and doing well!):
  • Lead the installation and configuration of complex security systems, including integrated alarm, surveillance, and access control systems.
  • Manage large-scale installation projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Supervise and support other technicians on-site, providing guidance and resolving technical issues.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Communicates with end-user and/or Project Manager
  • Conduct system evaluations and provide recommendations for upgrades or improvements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including system layouts, installation reports, and project summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

What we Like about you:
  • A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in security system installation with a focus on complex and high-security systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced security technologies and integration techniques.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading installation teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical Activities/Demands:
  • Able to safely work at heights on ladders and aerial lifts
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.
  • Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.

Pay Transparency Statement

The base pay range for this role is $29.00 - $44.50 hourly. This position may have overtime available. Note that wage may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base wage as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
