Job description

STUDENT PROGRAM FORMAT

This student program will follow an in-person model. Students will be based onsite at the Stellantis Headquarters & Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Students are expected to work 24 hours per week, during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. Candidates who are selected for the program will work with their manager to determine a consistent weekly work schedule where candidates fulfill the 24-hour requirement, while balancing their class schedule. During the summer months, students may potentially work 40 hours per week. This determination will be at management’s discretion. Applications are accepted year-round, and student program cohorts start on a quarterly basis in January, April, June, and September, and students are intended to stay in the program until graduation.

Students will be assigned to a department based on the candidate’s background and skill set. The assignments are project-oriented, meaningful to the department, and allow the student to provide valuable contributions. Students experience a sense of personal accomplishment and learn about the corporate business culture through work assignments, structured activities, and exclusive student networking events.

The Ram Brand Product Team defines the strategic direction for current and future vehicles, technologies, and services. Our forward-thinking product vision is driven by a deep understanding of an ever-evolving marketplace, consumer research, and data analytics. At the core of every vehicle strategy is the customer - understanding what motivates their purchase decisions, how they perceive the Ram brand and its products, and how we compare against the competition.

The Ram Brand Team is seeking a passionate, driven, and strategic candidate to help build upon our success and shape future opportunities. The Ram Product Student Position will support the product planning and management of a future Ram nameplate, working closely with Ram leadership and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Research, Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Procurement. This role will help define and develop customer-centric products and technology strategies designed to win in the marketplace.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Master of Business Administration or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Business, Finance and/or Engineering
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university at the time of hire
  • Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round
  • Passion for the automotive market; automotive product knowledge
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint & Excel
  • Comfortable mining and analyzing data to identify market trends to make recommendations to generate demand and grow revenue, margin, market share and brand value
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills are necessary and an aptitude to utilize those skills to communicate effectively with vehicle engineering, design, manufacturing, logistics, sales, marketing, and finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of professional experience in an automotive setting
  • 2 years of professional experience in marketing, product planning, brand management, or product management
