OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant professional with experience in controlling to join our Finance team.  The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and hands-on experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems to manage financial processes efficiently.  This role will support financial decision-making by providing accurate financial insights, ensuring compliance, improving financial performance, and implementing of S4HANA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

  • Performs cost controlling and variance analysis to monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts

  • Utilizes SAP (FI/CO modules preferred) for financial transactions, reporting, and data analysis

  • Monitors cost centers, profit centers, and project costs to ensure accurate financial tracking

  • Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Supports internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and reports

  • Ensures compliance with IFRS and GAAP, internal policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with finance leadership

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial visibility and operational efficiency

  • Supports SAP system improvements, reporting enhancements, and financial data integrity

  • Serves as a technical resource to the accounting staff, sharing knowledge and guidance without formal supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience (required)

    • 4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling

    • Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred)/or other ERP system

    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and budgeting

    • Advanced Excel skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Key competencies include: financial analysis and reporting, cost controlling and variance analysis, SAP/ERP financial systems expertise, budgeting and forecasting, process improvement and internal controls, cross-functional collaboration

  • Experience (preferred)

    • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA

    • Experience working in manufacturing, and corporate finance

    • Knowledge of ERP reporting tools or BI tools (Power BI, BI, etc.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primarily desk-type duty
