What We're Looking For
  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program. Required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), required.
    • Applicable state licensure as required, required.
    • Post-graduates from an accredited Radiology Program with be required to pass their ARRT registry within 6 months of completing program, required.
  • Additional Skills Required:
    • Applies principles of ALARA to minimize radiation exposure to patient, self, and others.
    • Demonstrates current knowledge of federal and state radiation safety laws.
    • Properly utilizes personnel monitoring devices.
    • Ensures proper equipment performance and schedules maintenance for emergent needs.
    • Properly operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
    • Independently performs radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures, as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
    • Assists a licensed practitioner in the performance of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including all intraoperative and mobile procedures including the following: ERCP's, bronchoscopy, mini-c-arms, post reductions.
    • Mobile imaging including lines and pacers and neonates.
