Work Environment

This position provides flexibility as a remote therapist, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home or preferred location. Despite the remote setting, our practice maintains a vibrant outpatient office atmosphere through virtual meetings and regular team check-ins. We operate Monday through Saturday, offering you the freedom to create a schedule that best suits your lifestyle while ensuring accessibility for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, which include individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to determine treatment needs and goals.
  • Implement clinically appropriate interventions, drawing from a range of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during patient rounds to discuss assessments, treatment plans, and updates on client progress.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of all interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and departmental standards.
  • Provide case management services by coordinating care with external healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for each patient.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in regular supervision to enhance therapy skills and stay updated on best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Serene Mind Therapy, we serve a diverse clientele including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Qualifications
  • Must hold a current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW as mandated by the State of New Jersey.

  • Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours a week, providing flexible session availability.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of patient scenarios effectively.

  • Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
