This position provides flexibility as a remote therapist, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home or preferred location. Despite the remote setting, our practice maintains a vibrant outpatient office atmosphere through virtual meetings and regular team check-ins. We operate Monday through Saturday, offering you the freedom to create a schedule that best suits your lifestyle while ensuring accessibility for our clients.

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients, which include individuals, adolescents, families, and groups to determine treatment needs and goals.
• Implement clinically appropriate interventions, drawing from a range of therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during patient rounds to discuss assessments, treatment plans, and updates on client progress.
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of all interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and departmental standards.
• Provide case management services by coordinating care with external healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for each patient.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in regular supervision to enhance therapy skills and stay updated on best practices.

At Serene Mind Therapy, we serve a diverse clientele including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Our therapists are equipped to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of clients across varied demographics. As part of our team, you’ll play an essential role in guiding clients towards improved mental health outcomes.

• Must hold a current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW as mandated by the State of New Jersey.
• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours a week, providing flexible session availability.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required, demonstrating your ability to handle a variety of patient scenarios effectively.

• Experience with CBT and other evidence-based treatment modalities will be advantageous.
• Prior experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a remote environment while maintaining high-quality patient care.
