Job description

Our client is seeking a Project Manager oversees complex lifting, rigging, and heavy transport projects from planning through execution.
Core Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution
    Develop lift plans, schedules, and work scopes for crane and rigging operations. Coordinate labor, equipment, and logistics to ensure safe and efficient execution.
  • Client Coordination
    Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
  • Safety & Compliance
    Enforce OSHA and company safety standards. Review lift plans, conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), and ensure all operations meet regulatory and site-specific requirements.
  • Budget & Cost Control
    Estimate project costs, track expenses, and manage budgets. Approve invoices, monitor profitability, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Scheduling & Resource Management
    Coordinate crane operators, riggers, trucking, and specialized equipment. Ensure proper allocation and minimize downtime.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    Maintain project records, including permits, lift drawings, inspection logs, and daily reports.
Qualificatons
  • 2+ years experience in machinery moving/millwright services
  • Project Management/Sales experience a plus. Preferably 2+ years as well.
  • Strong computer skills-Microsoft product
  • Team player
  • On job experience with millwright projects
