We are currently looking for a Field Service Millwrightย to add to our team located at our York, PA facility.ย We are a tight-knit group that takes a great deal of pride in what we produce. Job Description

Position Summaryย & Objectiveย 

The Field Service Millwrightย will beย responsible forย installing equipment, repairing items, and transferring machinery to needed locations.ย Field service Millwrightsย work in various settings for different projects and will be responsible for followingย the safety and environmental requirements as it pertains to theย job. Millwrights will make sure that all machines operate properly, review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals.ย 

Essential Functionsย Performed by the Positionย ย ย 

  • Provide on-site mechanical laborย ย 
  • Supply own small hand tools for use at job sitesย 
  • Complete personal expense reports weekly as requiredย 
  • Completes and submitsย project documentation per the contract requirements as directedย by the siteย FSRย ย 
  • Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect malfunctionsย 
  • Testing machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioningย 
  • Repairing, replacing, and maintainingย partsย and systemsย 
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills,ย and Abilitiesย ย 

  • Able to assemble, move, set up, and dismantle tools and machineryย 
  • Comfortable using large equipment such as cranes and trucksย 
  • Familiar with a variety of tools and equipmentย ย 
  • Ability to readย blueprints and diagrams to properly install and repair machinesย 
  • Safety minded with ability toย followย and contribute to theย safety precautions of machineryย ย 
  • Hands on and proactiveย problem-solvingย skillsย 
  • Strong communication skillsย ย 
  • Ability to work independently and plan workย in accordanceย withย established schedulesย ย 
  • Proficient inย theย use of readingย precision measurement equipmentย 

Required Education and Experienceย ย 

  • Associate degreeย with one to two years related experienceย ย 
  • High School degree with 5 years millwright or similar experienceย 

Licenses or Certifications Requiredย ย 

  • Must have a validย driver'sย licenseย ย
