About the role:
As a Millwright you will Plan, layout and implement complex work assignments. Install, repair, rebuild, dismantle, maintain and move machinery and material-handling equipment throughout the plant site.
You will report to the Supervisor of Maintenance and Facilities Opsand be located at Blairsville, PA. You will support this role 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive work assignments, written or verbal, and work from sketches, prints, drawings or other instructions/information received from supervisor.
  • Disconnect and reconnect existing electrical services up to and including 120V, single phase A.C. together with job responsibility.
  • Disconnect and reconnect existing tubing, piping, hoses, gages, valves up to and including 2" diameter in all types of pipe and hose together with job responsibility.
  • Perform incidental machining on parts to complete machine repair.
  • Check proper function of machinery or equipment after repair work.
  • Diagnose machine function to avoid major breakdowns. Perform predictive/preventive maintenance activity.
  • Move related material, equipment and supplies required to perform job responsibility.
  • Clear a right-of-way, such as removal of abandoned pipe, conduit, wires, and insulation.
  • Maintain inventories/records, manually or electronically, such as labor, distribution, spare-parts inventory, materials, and report shortages or problems.
  • Lubricate equipment. Maintain fluid levels.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work area clean and in orderly condition. Remove all excess material and scrap related to job responsibility.
  • Conform to all safety requirements. Must use lock-and-tag system.
  • Repair, fabricate, and install simple brackets/guards, hangers, and supports.
  • Change and repair tires.
  • Repair pumps such as mechanical vacuum pumps, gear pumps, Viking pumps, and hydraulic pumps.
  • Assist other crafts.
  • Support vibration analysis function by performing data collection activities.
  • Overhead Crane inspections and repairs
  • Typical tools and equipment used include all types of tools and equipment to perform job responsibilities. These tools and equipment include fork-lifts, hand trucks, and dollies. They also include cranes, rigging, and measuring devices. Multiple tools are part of the list, such as hand, power, precision, and machine tools. Additionally, there is shearing and bending equipment, testers, meters, propane gas torches, and man-lifts. The list also features transit, laser alignment equipment, a personal computer, and data collection devices for predictive/preventive maintenance. The data collection devices include accelerometer, strobe, infrared, ultrasound, acoustics, and machine balance.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Journeyperson's card, recognized in Pennsylvania, in the specific field of interest
  • Associate's degree with greater than 3 years of experience in the specific field of interest
  • Relevant US military experience in specific field of interest
