Rojahn Custom Cabinetry is seeking an experienced Kitchen & Custom Millwork Designer to join our growing team. We design, engineer, and manufacture premium custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for discerning residential clients, builders, architects, and interior designers throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Beyond.

Position Summary
The Kitchen & Custom Millwork Designer is responsible for guiding projects from initial client consultation through production-ready shop drawings. This individual will work closely with homeowners, builders, architects, interior designers, and our manufacturing team to ensure every project is beautiful, functional, and efficiently engineered for production.
Responsibilities
  •  Meet with clients to understand project goals, budget, and design preferences. 
  •  Design custom kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, closets, libraries, mudrooms, entertainment centers, offices, bars, and specialty millwork. 
  •  Develop floor plans, elevations, renderings, and presentation materials. 
  •  Create detailed production drawings and CNC-ready shop drawings using Mozaik or similar cabinet software. 
  •  Produce accurate material takeoffs and pricing. 
  •  Specify cabinetry construction methods, hardware, accessories, and finishes. 
  •  Coordinate with sales, engineering, production, finishing, and installation teams. 
  •  Review projects for manufacturability and installation requirements. 
  •  Manage revisions and maintain project documentation. 
  •  Attend field measurements and jobsite meetings when necessary. 
  •  Stay current on cabinetry trends, hardware innovations, and manufacturing techniques. 
Qualifications
  •  3+ years designing custom kitchens and architectural millwork. 
  •  Experience with Mozaik, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, or similar software. 
  •  Strong understanding of frameless and face-frame cabinet construction. 
  •  Knowledge of woodworking materials, veneers, hardwoods, MDF, plywood, and hardware. 
  •  Experience preparing production/shop drawings. 
  •  Ability to read architectural and construction plans. 
  •  Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  •  Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving ability. 
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
Preferred Experience
  •  Interior design background. 
  •  Knowledge of CNC manufacturing. 
  •  Experience with Blum, Salice, Grass, Hafele, and Richelieu hardware. 
  •  Experience designing luxury residential cabinetry.
