Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join a growing residential construction team. This role is responsible for developing accurate technical drawings, construction documents, and residential design plans that support the successful execution of custom home projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction design, strong technical drafting skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders. Experience with custom residential homes and cabinet design is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and revise detailed construction drawings, residential floor plans, elevations, and technical documentation.
  • Develop accurate design and construction documents using CAD software, with a preference for Chief Architect.
  • Incorporate dimensions, specifications, materials, and construction details into project plans.
  • Create and modify custom residential home plans and layout designs.
  • Support custom cabinetry and millwork design integration when required.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and construction standards.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
