Job description

Job Title: Project Manager – Millwork / Casework / Fixtures

Reports to: Director of Project Management

Position Status: Salaried Exempt

 

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

  • The Project Manager is responsible for full lifecycle execution of custom millwork, casework, and fixture manufacturing projects from contract award through production and delivery.
  • This role coordinates engineering, sourcing, fabrication, and installation to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specification.
  • Operates in a fast-paced environment requiring strong execution, communication, and control of scope, cost, and timelines.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own projects from contract through engineering, production, and delivery
  • Manage multiple custom manufacturing projects in a fast-turn environment
  • Coordinate Engineering, Sourcing, Production, and Operations
  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with shop capacity
  • Manage scope, costs, and change orders
  • Track project financials and ensure margin performance
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation in ERP systems
  • Conduct project closeouts and continuous improvement reviews

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced manufacturing
  • Ability to anticipate risks and implement solutions proactively
  • Evaluate cost, schedule, and production impacts effectively

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • English required; Spanish preferred

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • 5–10+ years in millwork, casework, fixtures, or custom manufacturing
  • Ability to read shop drawings, BOMs, and production documentation
  • Experience with production schedules and cross-functional teams

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: 

  • PMP certification is a plus but not required
