Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute milling operations to meet DOT, local, and commercial specifications.
  • Interpret and apply plans and specifications, including application rates, grades, slopes, and drainage requirements.
  • Consistently deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage all aspects of milling operations, including coordination with other crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Communicate proactively with fellow Foremen and teams regarding personnel, traffic control, and equipment logistics.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork under pressure.
  • Submit accurate daily electronic timecards and shift production reports, tracking material quantities and task codes.
  • Champion, enforce, and uphold safety policies and procedures.
  • Motivate and develop team members by setting clear expectations, offering constructive feedback, and facilitating training opportunities.
  • Monitor and ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, handling equipment write-ups as necessary.
  • Verify job quality at the close of each day and address any concerns promptly.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to ensure project success.

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt paving or milling preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations and industry specifications.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Successful completion of post-offer drug screening.
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States; all new hires processed through E-Verify.
  • Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
