Internship Assignment: Full Time - Summer 2027
  • Start date: 05/17/2027
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planners/Schedulers, Operations, Engineering, and Reliability Engineers to support continuous improvement initiatives across Tube Making operations.
  • Assist with identifying, tracking, and implementing equipment and process improvement opportunities that enhance reliability, safety, and productivity.
  • Support the review and submission of drawing updates to ensure technical documents accurately reflect equipment modifications and current operating conditions.
  • Assist with spare parts management by tracking critical asset components, researching parts requirements, and helping resolve inventory or availability issues.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance work packages and scopes of work for projects and services that will be bid through external vendors.
  • Analyze maintenance and equipment data to help identify reliability trends and support predictive and preventive maintenance efforts.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional, team-driven environment, collaborating with maintenance, operations, engineering, and contractors to execute projects and achieve business objectives.

Internship Qualifications:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
  • Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
  • Preferred major: Electrical Engineering or related
