Job Title: Mill Maintenance Technician
Location: Kearny, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
Turner Staffing Group is partnered with a mining company in Kearny, Arizona that is seeking an experienced Mill Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on processing plant and mill equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mill and processing plant equipment
  • Maintain and repair equipment such as crushers, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, screens, and other processing equipment
  • Inspect equipment to identify wear, damage, or potential failures and make necessary repairs
  • Assist with installation, alignment, and replacement of mill components and machinery
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work as needed
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follow all company policies and MSHA safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred
  • 1-3+ years of experience in industrial or mill maintenance, preferably in mining, aggregates, or heavy industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, motors, conveyors, and rotating equipment
  • Experience with welding, fabrication, and equipment alignment preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and equipment manuals
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and work in elevated or confined areas as required

Schedule:

  • Schedule may include rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
