In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime across our manufacturing operations.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance, you'll play a key role in improving asset reliability, optimizing maintenance resources, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing environment.

If you enjoy solving complex equipment challenges, using data to drive decisions, and making a direct impact on plant performance, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As our Maintenance Planner, you will:

Develop and coordinate preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work plans to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

Partner with Operations to identify equipment deficiencies, maintenance priorities, and opportunities for process improvements.

Utilize and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring maintenance records, work orders, equipment history, and documentation remain accurate and current.

Prepare and distribute weekly maintenance schedules that align with production priorities and available resources.

Coordinate maintenance personnel, contractors, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime.

Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for maintenance projects and shutdown activities.

Monitor spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.

Coordinate with external contractors to ensure maintenance and repair work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards.

Track and analyze key maintenance performance indicators, including:

  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF)
  • Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
  • Equipment Availability
  • Planned vs. Unplanned Maintenance
  • Maintenance Schedule Compliance
  • Breakdown Trends

Prepare monthly maintenance reports and recommend improvements based on performance data.

Support department budgeting activities and monitor maintenance expenditures to ensure cost-effective operations.

Ensure timely and accurate maintenance transactions are entered into the ERP and CMMS systems.

Assist maintenance technicians during shutdowns, emergencies, or high-demand periods when additional support is required.

Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning processes, reliability strategies, and overall equipment performance.

Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Experience supporting maintenance shutdown planning and capital maintenance projects.

What Makes You Successful

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize multiple projects and adjust quickly to changing operational needs.
