Job description

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Milk & Cream Reconciliation Specialist to support the accuracy and accountability of milk and cream transactions from producer pickup through plant delivery and settlement. This role is essential to ensuring accurate producer payments, operational integrity, and strong reconciliation controls across our daily operations.

What You'll Do

Manifest & Load Reconciliation

  • Review, process, organize, and reconcile milk and cream manifests and load documentation
  • Verify load information including producer data, routes, weights, sample IDs, and delivery information
  • Enter and reconcile data within internal accounting and ERP systems
  • Investigate discrepancies such as missing loads, duplicate entries, incorrect weights, or rejected loads
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical records supporting audit and reconciliation processes


Producer Settlement Support

  • Support accurate producer payment processing through validated reconciliation data
  • Assist with audits, balancing, and settlement review activities
  • Respond to internal questions related to producer transactions and adjustments


Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with operations, dispatch, transportation, accounting, quality, and plant teams to resolve issues quickly and accurately
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding reconciliation findings and required corrections
  • Assist with process improvements that increase efficiency and data accuracy

Qualifications

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience working with data entry, reconciliation, accounting support, logistics, transportation, or administrative processes preferred
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and investigate issues independently
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in dairy, agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, or food production environments is a plus
