Job description

You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) in the Board for Correction of Naval Records of SECNAV BCNR.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience interpreting military laws, regulations, and policies governing military records to ensure compliance with federal and agency requirements.
  • Experience applying federal statutes, agency guidance, and regulatory requirements to evaluate military records and support case decisions.
  • Experience assembling, organizing, and reviewing military record documentation to ensure complete and accurate case files prior to adjudication.
  • Experience adjudicating requests for correction of military records by analyzing evidence and applying applicable statutes, regulations, and policies to resolve errors or injustices.
