Role Overview

Everblue is seeking a Technical Instructor to deliver engaging, hands-on training in energy efficiency, weatherization, building performance, and related technical disciplines. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping others develop practical skills that lead to meaningful careers.

As a member of Everblue's instructional team, you will facilitate classroom and field-based training, support workforce development initiatives, and help prepare participants for industry-recognized certifications and success in the field.

We train statewide and nationally and will work with you to deliver training where it creates the greatest impact. Everblue provides instructor onboarding, curriculum support, and ongoing professional development to help instructors succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual, and hands-on field training aligned with Everblue certification and workforce development programs
  • Facilitate practical exercises and demonstrations while maintaining a safe and effective learning environment
  • Travel throughout Georgia and the Southeast as needed to support training delivery
  • Assess participant performance through field evaluations, skills demonstrations, and written assessments
  • Collaborate with curriculum developers, clients, and operations staff to continuously improve training programs
  • Prepare and maintain training materials, equipment, and classroom resources
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent Everblue professionally with clients, partners, and participants
  • Support workforce development initiatives that expand opportunities within the energy efficiency industry
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience teaching, training, coaching, mentoring, supervising, or developing adult learners
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to facilitate learning in both classroom and field environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and related technology platforms
  • Ability to manage logistics associated with travel-based training assignments
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and training environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in energy auditing, weatherization, building performance, solar installation, HVAC, construction, facilities maintenance, building trades, or related technical disciplines
  • BPI, RESNET, NABCEP, LEED, or similar industry certifications preferred
  • Experience delivering technical, workforce development, apprenticeship, certification, or adult education programs
  • Experience conducting hands-on skills training in field environments
