Job description

Job Title: Associate, Production Planning

Job Schedule: 1st Shift 9/80

Job Description:

 

The Production Planning Associate will be responsible for creating material and production demands in SAP, analyses and schedules SAP for alignment to Project schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Review of maintenance/modification requirements for contractual activities for aircraft maintenance projects through the interpretation of program Statements of Work, engineering drawings, technical manuals, directives, and other specifications.
  • Participate in discussions with customers both internal and external regarding contractual maintenance and/or modification requirements and schedule for production and shop floor.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with zero (0) to two (2) years of prior commercial, or military engineering, installation, modification or maintenance aerospace experience in a hands-on labor capacity or in a production support function. (e.g. engineering, supply chain, quality, planning.)
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of four (4) years of prior commercial, or military engineering, installation, modification or maintenance aerospace experience in a hands-on labor capacity or in a production support function. (e.g. engineering, supply chain, quality, planning.)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
