CNC Machinist/ARMO Mechanic

As an CNC Machinist/ARMO Mechanic, you will support maintenance and repair activities on electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring operational reliability, safety compliance, and efficient resolution of equipment-related issues. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain a variety of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

As an CNC Machinist/ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists to perform accurate assembly and maintenance tasks.

  • Following formal procedures, maintenance practices, and quality standards during all work activities.

  • Performing basic soldering, wiring, and assembly of electromechanical components and devices.

  • Supporting troubleshooting and repair activities under established guidelines.

  • Using basic computer skills to document work, access procedures, and update maintenance records.

  • Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

  • Determining setup requirements by reviewing blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and instructions.

  • Measuring, marking, and scribing dimensions on materials to guide machining operations.

  • Machining bar stock to required dimensions with precision.

  • Interacting with cobots and robotic tools to enhance machining efficiency.

  • Verifying conformance of finished parts using precision measuring equipment such as CMM and optical comparators.

  • Performing preventative maintenance on machining equipment as needed.

  • Complying with productivity and quality standards to meet operational goals.

  • Operating a forklift when required to support material movement.

  • Performing additional duties based on workload and business needs.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a Technical Diploma or a minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial experience in an electro-mechanical function.

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of relevant industrial experience in industries such as airline, military, oilfield, automotive, or electronics.

  • Have experience working with electrical systems, including 3-phase 480V and single-phase 120V applications.

  • Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.

  • Have knowledge of hydraulic circuits and the ability to troubleshoot equipment faults.

  • Have experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers, and other testing instruments.

  • Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Have basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

  • Have strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Have certifications such as A/C Certification, Electrical Maintenance, or Stationary Engineer certification (preferred but not required).
