Prime Response, Inc. (PRI) is seeking a Military Office Moves Specialist to provide onsite logistics and warehouse operations support at a large military and Federal facility in Arlington, VA / Washington, DC. As directed, the Military Office Moves Specialist performs a variety of customer service logistics functions. Duties include but are not limited to: Delivering and picking-up material in a professional and courteous manner with minimum disruption to customers. Conducting office moves within the Pentagon and throughout the NCR. Safeguarding and protecting furniture from damage. Inventorying and obtaining signed receipts from authorized agents for all material picked-up and or delivered. Loading and unloading trucks in a careful and professional manner. Support special events by moving, setting up, and tearing down chairs, tables, podiums, bunting, etc. Provides customer assistance in the stock room and warehouses. Makes deliveries of materials and packages to various locations within the National Capital Region. Travels on a truck to make deliveries to other locations in the National Capital Region. Operates handheld computers and Personal Computers to complete transactions, tracking, and inventory in systems of record as required.

Requirements:

  • Required U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance and/or facility badge
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record; ability to operate a medium box truck if required
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Minimum of 2โ€“5 years of warehouse, logistics, or related operational experience
  • Experience supporting material handling, inventory, deliveries, or facilities logistics tasks in a structured environment
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations, office moves, or property handling
  • Experience using inventory tracking systems, handheld scanners, or similar tools
  • Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (forklift experience a plus, if applicable)
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, tracking, and inventory updates
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with building occupants and staff
  • Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving furniture and materials
  • Ability to identify damaged items or basic repair needs and take appropriate action

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting government, military, or federal facility operations
  • Experience with office relocations, furniture handling, or minor furniture repair/maintenance
  • Familiarity with property or asset management systems (e.g., DPAS or similar)
  • Experience supporting warehouse receiving, storage, and distribution function
