Job Description
  • Manages census development and the admission/preadmission process, including verifying benefits, tracking census goals, and building the facility's reputation as a trusted resource.
  • Builds and maintains a network of prospective resident contacts, generates leads, and reports regularly on census and public relations activity to the Executive Director.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for outreach, prospects, residents, and staff - communicating census policies, procedures, and payment-related matters clearly and professionally.
  • Tracks competitor and demographic data through facility visits, media/industry research, and tailors advertising and outreach accordingly.
  • Develops community relationships and outreach programs (senior organizations, banks, events, public speaking) to promote the facility.
  • Maintains accurate documentation (admissions, discharge, referrals, move-in/move-out) and supports quality assurance, survey processes, and policy updates.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous long term care admissions experience required
