What You'll Do
  • Support recruiting efforts, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting background and reference checks.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and personnel file management.
  • Maintain employee records, licenses, certifications, and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee status changes.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Assist managers with HR policies, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Coordinate unemployment claims, workers' compensation documentation, OSHA recordkeeping, and return-to-work processes.
  • Participate in surveys, audits, and other HR compliance activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of Human Resources, employee relations, recruiting, training, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
