Job description

Responsibilities
The Milieu Manager is responsible for ensuring quality resident care, observation, and interaction and ensures appropriate programming is followed and timely on all units. As well as, all shift reports, environment of care rounds and patient supervision documentation occurs and is timely. The Milieu Manager is responsible for direct supervision and oversight of facility Mental Health Technicians and Lead Mental Health techs including, hiring and corrective action recommendations. The Milieu Manager will work closely with the Director of Residential Services in ensuring patient safety and quality patient care. The Milieu Manager must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with members of all facility departments. The Milieu manager must be able to work different shifts as needed, including weekends and overtime. Additional duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience : 3+ years of clinical experience in a child/youth setting required. Knowledge of psychiatric resident care techniques and understanding of mental illness preferred.
Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CPR certification and successful completion of Handle With Care (HWC) upon employment.
MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
