Description

Casa Grande Academy is a residential treatment program that serves youth with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Casa Grande Academy is a 32-bed behavioral health inpatient facility (BHIF) licensed by the State of Arizona and accredited by the Joint Commission. The program offers intensive therapeutic services for youth needing specialized and comprehensive treatment when appropriate services may not be available in an outpatient setting. Our environment of care provides a trauma-informed treatment setting through which recovery and resiliency are promoted for life-changing success.


Direct Care Staff Job: Casa Grande Academy is looking for a Direct Care Staff and Youth Counselor positions.


Shift/ Hours: 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am, weekdays and weekends


Requirements

Direct Care Worker Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains oral and written communication with staff, clients and others as requested. In essence, communication is vital to this position and is viewed as a direct reflection of the BHT.
  • Plans with the Milieu Manager and carries out scheduled groups with clients and directs youth counselors with completing required documentation regarding those groups.
  • Meets weekly with teammates in team meetings and attendings all clinical supervision trainings bi-weekly.
  • Helps clients set daily goals and supports them through their program.
  • Responsible for daily documentation of clients and specific reports pertaining to clients.
  • Responsible for client's clinical chart condition including SOAP completion, accuracy and substance.
  • Assist with note taking for clinical Supervisions and Staff Meetings
  • Additional duties as determined by the Shift Supervisors and Milieu Manager
