MarTech Project Manager


Location: Vaughan, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-12 Month Contract plus extensions

Rate: 40-50/hour depending on relative experience

Overview

Our client is seeking a MarTech Project Manager to lead a major CRM and Customer Data Platform (CDP) transformation initiative. This is a newly created role driven by the organization's investment in modernizing its marketing technology ecosystem.

Reporting to the Head of Digital & Technology, this individual will partner closely with Marketing, Data, Product, Technology, and external implementation partners to oversee the migration from existing CRM and CDP solutions to a new ecosystem, including Braze and a CDP solution built within Snowflake.


The successful candidate will act as the primary business-side lead for the project, ensuring requirements are gathered and documented, stakeholders are aligned, key decisions are made, risks are managed, and implementation partners are accountable for delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a large-scale CRM and CDP migration initiative from planning through implementation.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
  • Gather, document, and manage business requirements across Marketing, Data, Product, and Technology teams.
  • Drive project timelines, governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery tracking.
  • Coordinate the migration and implementation of Braze and supporting customer data solutions.
  • Translate customer engagement, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing requirements into actionable project deliverables.
  • Partner with internal teams and implementation partners to ensure successful integrations across CRM, CDP, and data platforms.
  • Facilitate key project decisions and hold vendors accountable for commitments and deliverables.
  • Support process improvements and governance practices that enable long-term success of the new MarTech ecosystem.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, Marketing Technology (MarTech), CRM, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Marketing Automation, or related digital customer engagement environments.
  • Experience leading or supporting CRM, CDP, MarTech, or customer data migration and implementation projects.
  • Hands-on familiarity with platforms such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Iterable, Algonomy, or similar customer engagement technologies.
  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, journey orchestration, personalization, and first-party data strategies.
  • Experience collaborating across business, technical, and vendor teams to deliver complex technology initiatives.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and optimization strategies.
  • Experience with Jira and/or Confluence.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Braze implementations or migrations.
  • Experience with Snowflake, HighTouch, or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
