What is a migrant?

Migrants are individuals who move from one place to another, often across international borders or within their own country, typically to find better living conditions, employment, education, or to escape conflict or natural disasters. Migration can be voluntary or forced, and migrants may move temporarily or permanently. The term 'migrant' encompasses a wide range of people, including labor migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and others who relocate for various reasons.
