Midwest Electric & Generator is seeking a Generator/Lube Technician to support our residential and commercial customers throughout Minnesota. This role involves traveling to customer sites to perform routine maintenance, oil changes, and service on installed generator systems. We provide all required training and certifications, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to build or grow a career in generator service.

Previous experience as a lube technician or in small engine maintenance is preferred but not required.


Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform approximately 6–8 oil changes per day at customer residences and job sites
  • Conduct routine generator maintenance and service on a daily basis
  • Service customers throughout Minnesota, with most locations within 60 miles of Elk River
  • Maintain accurate, day-to-day updates of customer accounts in the company’s system
  • Work with small engine–style equipment (up to 999cc)
  • Safely perform physical tasks, including bending, squatting, lifting, and working in all weather conditions year-round
  • Represent Midwest Electric & Generator with professionalism and a strong customer-service focus
