We seek to employ qualified security professionals for a high profile hotel, located in a Midtown Manhattan location.

Requirements

  • A valid New York State Security Guard license
  • All Security training must be up to date
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Flexible availability to work
  • F03 COF Fireguard License
  • CPR Certified
  • 1 Year of verifiable security experience
  • Prior hotel security preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to stand, patrol, and work outdoors if necessary
  • Strong Computer skills (Typing, Internet, MS Office)
  • Ability to pass a drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and fellow hotel personnel
  • Patrol guest areas for unusual, dangerous, or illegal activity and unauthorized individuals
  • Respond to Medical Emergencies, provide basic first aid to injured colleagues and guests
  • Maintaining exceptional communication, hospitality, and interpersonal skills
  • Complete security checks and follow post orders as directed by the hotel
  • Report necessary incidents and occurrences during each scheduled shift
  • Keep a log with hourly entries
  • Conduct employee bag checks
  • Access control of all contractors coming in to the property
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor
