About the Role:

The Condominium Security Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, and property within a condominium complex. This position involves monitoring security systems, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies to maintain a secure environment. The officer will supervise security personnel, coordinate with management and emergency services, and enforce condominium policies and regulations. By proactively identifying potential security risks and addressing them effectively, the officer helps foster a safe and welcoming community atmosphere. Ultimately, this role is essential in protecting assets and providing peace of mind to all stakeholders within the condominium.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in security operations, preferably within residential or condominium settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency response procedures.
  • Valid security guard license in Florida or certification as required by local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency management.
  • Experience with advanced security technology such as CCTV monitoring and access control systems.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with condominium rules, regulations, and community management practices.

  • Conduct regular patrols of the condominium premises, including common areas, parking lots, and restricted zones, to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems to identify and respond to suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, or disturbances, providing assistance and reporting to appropriate authorities as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security reports, and communicate relevant information to condominium management.
