Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the Capitol Place General Manager in directing the efficient operation of the Capitol Place residential complex. Performs assigned duties related to the management and maintenance of the Capitol Place building facilities, resident accommodations, and terms of occupancy.
Assists in establishing and developing personnel, administrative, and maintenance standards.
Assists in the preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and budgets. Performs the duties of the General Manager in his absence. Ensures safety of residents, guests and employees by holding safety training classes and maintaining the building security system and procedures.
Review and approve incident reports.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provides luxury, first class, personal customer service to all Capitol Place owners and
    residents:
  2. Bell services
  3. Room service deliveries
  4. Concierge "like" services
  5. Maintain order, enforce all Capitol Place rules, regulations, and policies, and insure
    the observance of applicable laws. Reports all discrepancies and infractions to the
    General Manager.
  6. Patrol all lobbies, corridors, public restrooms, and other areas to detect
    violations.
  7. Investigate disturbances, complaints, and accidents.
  8. Confer with management
  9. Interview guests and employees
  10. Warn or trespass violators
  11. Caution careless persons
  12. Render and obtain assistance for accident victims, and document information via
    incident reports.

Marginal Job Duties:
  1. As a first responder to emergency situations, the Residential Specialist must be
    able to rapidly ascend multiple flights of stairs and assist emergency and law
    enforcement personnel as need.

SUPERVISION:
  1. Supervision Exercised:

Shift Leads (1 per shift) will supervise each of three (3) shifts.
  1. Supervision Received:

Receives general supervision from General Manager, and Operations Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Prefer at least one (1) year experience in hospitality or condo security. Customer service background desired.
Knowledge:
Able to read, write, type, give and receive oral reports. Computer literate, type 25 wpm, report writing. Good human relations and leadership skills. The ability to effectively
communicate over the telephone lines and portable equipment. Effectively and cordially communicate with management, residents, resident guests, visitors, employees and law enforcement authorities. Ability to lift and/or move a 75-lb. person in emergency
situations. Team oriented and display a positive, service oriented attitude towards our
residents, guests/visitors, employees and our company.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract. CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Current State Guard Card.
