Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware System Administrator / DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in JBoss EAP administration and Azure DevOps. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, automating, monitoring, and supporting enterprise middleware platforms while ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
This role requires deep expertise in JBoss platform administration, deployment automation, CI/CD pipeline management, performance tuning, troubleshooting, patching, and release management. The candidate will collaborate closely with infrastructure, application development, security, networking, and operations teams to deliver reliable and efficient middleware services.

Middleware Administration
•                      Install, configure, administer, and support JBoss EAP environments.
•                      Manage clustering, failover, load balancing, and high-availability configurations.
•                      Configure datasources, JVM settings, server groups, and application deployments.
DevOps & Release Management
•                      Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
•                      Manage source control, code repositories, pull requests, branching strategies, and deployment automation.
•                      Execute and support application deployments across multiple environments.
•                      Operations & Support
•                      Monitor middleware environments and proactively identify operational risks.
•                      Investigate and resolve application server, deployment, authentication, and performance issues.
•                      Perform health checks, log analysis, and production incident resolution.
Performance & Reliability
•                      Tune JVM memory, garbage collection, thread pools, and datasource configurations.
•                      Analyze thread dumps, heap dumps, and system logs to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
•                      Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
•                      Automation & Scripting
•                      Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts for deployment, validation, monitoring, and housekeeping tasks.
•                      Improve operational efficiency through automation and standardization.
•                      Patch & Upgrade Management
•                      Plan and execute JBoss upgrades, patch installations, and maintenance activities.
•                      Maintain environment standards, configuration baselines, and technical documentation.
•                      Collaboration & Documentation
•                      Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
•                      Maintain comprehensive operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base documentation.
