As a key player in the food processing industry, you won't just be selling equipment-you'll be delivering high-performance solutions that power the global food supply chain. This is a remote, high-visibility role for a strategic closer who thrives on the road and in the boardroom.
Your Impact:
  • Strategic Growth: Identify and capture new market opportunities, expanding Thurne's footprint across the North American food processing sector.
  • Relationship Architecture: Cultivate long-term partnerships with key stakeholders, moving beyond "vendor" status to become a trusted advisor.
  • Technical Expertise: Consult on complex processing challenges, recommending bespoke equipment solutions that optimize client operations.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by analyzing competitor moves and industry shifts to maintain our competitive edge.

The Logistics:

  • Strategic Negotiation: Experience managing long sales cycles (6-18 months) and closing high-value contracts ($250k+ per unit).
  • CRM Proficiency: Expert-level use of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics) to manage pipelines and provide accurate forecasting.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation skills, whether in a boardroom or on a factory floor.

Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Road Warrior Status: Ability and willingness to travel 50% or more within North America. This includes overnight stays and multi-city circuits.
