About the Role

iCapital is seeking a Vice President to join the International Asset Manager Solutions team to grow and manage iCapital's GP and Asset Manager relationships, contributing to the development and delivery of iCapital's international strategy. Reporting both to the International and US Asset Manager Solutions team leads, this individual will support the business development and relationship management activities of iCapital with a primary focus on Asset Managers in the United States managing and expanding their capital raising activities globally. iCapital's rapid global expansion creates an opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead as a key contributor to the Asset Manager Solutions team in building and expanding iCapital's global business with a focus on US-based fund managers.
  • Manage and support a robust and sustainable pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients, bringing a solutions-oriented mindset and client-first approach.
  • Take ownership for contributions to strategic projects and work alongside colleagues in developing and refining the iCapital international offering.
  • Create materials to educate clients on iCapital's solutions and capabilities.
  • Provide constant feedback from the field on competitive landscape, investors' appetite, trends and share with colleagues globally.
  • Build strong, collaborative internal relationships within iCapital and work closely with other teams across regions (Research and Fund Management, Product Development, Enterprise Integration Group, Marketing, Legal and Compliance, Technology and Operations, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes and successful long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of relevant work experience in private markets and private funds in the asset or wealth management industry
  • Bachelor's degree is required; advanced degree is preferred
  • Experience in fund structuring, fund platforms, and fund selection
  • Adequate exposure to Private Equity and/or other Private Markets asset classes, and an understanding of the distribution model is highly preferred
  • Experience pitching and winning client business, as well as able client management skills
  • Able to organize and structure a multi-faceted workload with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and seek to align stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly collaborative, and able to think strategically about business opportunities and client management
  • Able to work independently with a desire to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment, self-motivated, with a hands-on attitude
  • Work experience outside the US is a plus

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $155,000 to $185,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
