Location: Danville Community Middle School
Qualifications: Certification/License General Elementary, Indiana State Certification
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Plan, prepare & deliver lesson plans & instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
โ€ข Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment.
โ€ข Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
โ€ข Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
โ€ข Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
โ€ข Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
โ€ข Participate in department, school, district and parent meetings.
Days/Hours: Full-Time
Education: Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Experience: Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
