Brown County Middle School is seeking a motivated and energetic Physical Education
Paraprofessional to support students and staff within our Physical Education program. This
position focuses on assisting with daily instruction, student supervision, and promoting a
safe, active, and positive learning environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assist the licensed Physical Education teacher with daily instructional activities and
classroom management.
? Support students during physical education classes, activities, and fitness units.
? Help supervise students in locker rooms, ensuring appropriate behavior, safety, and
adherence to school expectations.
? Assist with equipment setup, organization, maintenance, and inventory.
? Monitor student participation and encourage positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and
personal responsibility.
? Help maintain a safe and structured environment during all physical education
activities.
? Provide additional support to students as directed by the Physical Education teacher.
? Assist with transitioning students between activities and locations as needed.
? Communicate and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support
staff to meet student needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience working with middle school-aged students.
? Background in education, coaching, athletics, recreation, or youth development
preferred.
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
