Job description

Job Description C2's client, a well-established point-of-purchase marketing and strategy partner that brings together design, engineering, print, technology, and fulfillment under one roof, seeks a Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join a growing creative team. Here, designers work alongside engineering, print, and fulfillment teams to develop retail campaigns from concept through production, seeing their work come to life in the displays, signage, and merchandising systems that influence shoppers on their path to purchase. Most of the work focuses on "below-the-line" marketing: the point-of-purchase (POP) displays, retail signage, and merchandising systems that surround the product on the sales floor.

The hiring manager is actively investing in the creative team and is looking for a designer who wants to take ownership, contribute ideas, and grow alongside the business. Start Date: First week of August (pending final scheduling) Duration: Direct hire or contract-to-hire (to be finalized); full-time, long-term Location: Onsite, Jackson, WI, Monday through Friday Compensation: Commensurate with experience Technology: Client provides hardware and software Job Description The Mid-Level Graphic Designer creates point-of-purchase displays, retail signage, merchandising systems, and other in-store marketing materials from concept through final production. Working closely with the Creative Director and broader design team, this role balances conceptual thinking with thoughtful execution while supporting established client programs and new business initiatives.

Responsibilities Design and produce point-of-purchase displays, retail signage, merchandising systems, and related in-store marketing materials Take ownership of projects from concept through final production with minimal oversight Partner with the Creative Director and broader creative team to support a growing portfolio of retail brands Develop creative solutions that balance strong design thinking with production realities Apply generative AI tools where appropriate to accelerate concept development and creative workflows Prepare production-ready files and collaborate with internal print and production teams to ensure quality execution Requirements A strong portfolio demonstrating mid-level graphic design experience, with point-of-purchase or retail merchandising experience preferred Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) Working familiarity with generative AI design tools and AI-assisted creative workflows Working knowledge of print production and how design translates to fabrication, including lithographic or large-format digital printing Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Self-driven, collaborative, and low ego, with genuine pride in the craft of design Not your type of gig, but know someone who would be interested. Refer a qualified candidate, and if they get the job, you get a signing bonus. (Make sure they mention your name as their referral source so you get your well-deserved credit!) All candidates must be located and authorized to work in the United States.
