Job Description

Our team in Chesapeake, VA. has an immediate need for a mid-level Remote Sys Administrator with demonstrated experience providing general infrastructure support, including responding to and updating trouble calls; performing break-fix troubleshooting and analysis of problems; and performing repair activities in order to return equipment, systems or networks to normal operational status.

This is not a remote or work from home position. Employees are expected to be in the Chesapeake office, daily during agreed upon shift.

Must be available for an evening or night shift.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct troubleshooting and perform break/fix activities on shipboard IT networks using a satellite connection to connect, login, and conduct work
  • Coordinate remote support needed with StratasCorp Technician help desk and Remote Administration team, as well as shipboard crew, to ensure work performed is in line with contract priorities
  • Gather data as needed and provide to StratasCorp teams to respond to data calls
  • Prepare and provide daily work reports
Job Requirements

  • IAT Level II, such as the below, or higher
    • CompTIA CySA+
    • SSCP

    • CCNA Security

The anticipated salary range for this role is$75,000 to $80,000 annually.The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
