Mid-Level Design Engineer position in

Salary Range : $85,000 - $140,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

2026 Benefits SummaryMID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Develop engineering designs for projects from preliminary concepts through final design.
- Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
- Coordinate with client technical staff and project managers throughout project delivery.
- Support both design-bid-build and design-build project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers in the development of final design and construction plans.
- Coordinate design activities and meetings among design staff, subcontractors, and client managers.
- Contribute to project decisions related to technical approaches, cost, and schedule performance.
- Participate in professional organizations and industry-related activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
MID-LEVEL DESIGN ENGINEER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 4-9 years of relevant engineering design experience
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience working with state or local DOTs
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Core Skills:- Engineering design and plan development
- Specifications and cost estimating
- Client and stakeholder coordination
- Project scheduling and technical decision-making
- Mentorship and team collaboration
- Design-bid-build and design-build project support
