Position Description:
This role is located at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA five days a week.
For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.
We are looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Tools team, supporting the configuration, integration, and enhancement of third-party platforms used across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders and project management teams to ensure tools like Planview are configured effectively, extended through scripting, and integrated with broader enterprise systems. This is a hands-on technical role that sits at the intersection of software engineering and enterprise platform administration.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Configure, maintain, and enhance third-party enterprise tools based on business requirements
. Develop and maintain lightweight scripts and automation using Java and related technologies to extend tool functionality and support integrations
. Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable configuration changes, workflows, and custom fields within enterprise platforms
. Support API-based integrations between Planview/or any third party tools and other enterprise systems (ERP, ITSM, data platforms)
. Troubleshoot issues across tool configurations, integrations, and data flows, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions with minimal disruption to operations
. Maintain documentation for configurations, scripts, workflows, and integration patterns
. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and deployment of configuration changes across environments
. Stay current on platform releases, evaluate new features, and recommend adoption where relevant
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
3-6 years of experience in software engineering, enterprise tool administration, or a related technical role
. Hands-on experience with Planview or any Third party tools - configuration, administration, or integration
. Proficiency in Java for scripting, automation, and API integration work
. Experience working with REST APIs and web services to connect enterprise platforms
. Familiarity with enterprise tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, SAP, or similar platforms
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguous requirements
. Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
. Strong communication skills - ability to work directly with non-technical business stakeholders
Nice to Have
. Experience with SQL for querying and validating data across integrated systems
. Exposure to Python or JavaScript for supplementary scripting
. Knowledge of PPM concepts - portfolio management, resource planning, project financials
. Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tooling for configuration deployment
. Prior work in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $62,900.00 - $139,300.00.
